Video Problems?
Not all computers are alike. This means
that videos will play in Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0 on one computer with
the same operating system but won't play on another. We do have a link for
Sick Computers for solving serious computer
issues.
Note: This may not apply in your
case, but if it does listen on. Do you have others using your computer.
Kids, friends, family? If you do and you're using your computer for
building your EcoQuest Business you should consider making your computer for
YOUR USE ONLY. If kids are on it we have found that there are tons
of viruses and corrupted files from games and other downloads that are
overloading your operating system. Fixing it one time won't be the answer.
Treat it like a valuable business tool, which it is, and go solo on your
computer.
OUR RECOMMENDATION:
1) FREE DOWNLOADS:

At the end of URL that you see in your
browser, if you see it ends with .SWF it is requires ADOBE FLASH
software. If it ends with .wmv it requires WINDOWS MEDIA. All
others we recommend having QUICK TIME downloaded and available. And,
if it isn't a movie, but a document and you see .pdf at the end it requires
ADOBE READER.

All of these software pieces are available
for you for FREE. When installed on your computer your computer will
typically decide which software piece to use automatically.

We recommend doing a fresh download of the
appropriate system above if your computer doesn't seem to be producing the results you
would like, or doing a FRESH DOWNLOAD of all for updating your computer.
2) SOMETIMES ITS YOUR BROWSER:

Microsoft has had a good run with Windows XP
and Internet Explorer 6.0, but most operating systems being sold today have
VISTA and Internet Explorer 7.0.

Many of us have had to fuss around with IE
7.0 only to decide to seek an alternative.
OUR RECOMMENDATION FOR EVERYONE:

Today there is an updated and faster version
of IE 7.0; 8.0. Go to
Microsoft downloads and download and
install 8.0. The speed difference is remarkable and it could very well
solve your video issues.

As a backup plan, Install
MOZILLA FIREFOX on
your computer.

It is FREE and it is SAFE.

Use it as your backup browser in the event
movies or other desired pieces don't behave properly in Internet Explorer
6.0 or 7.0 or 8.0
3) SICK COMPUTER? If these steps
fail, or if your computer is running very slowly then you may need to do
computer cleanup.

Visit

a significant improvement using these steps.

Or, take your computer into a computer
service center and ask them to run diagnostics and remove viruses, spyware
and corrupted files. It is a small price to pay to be back in
business.
